Call for PhD Student Applications in Eastern Christian Studies 2018

Stockholm School of Theology, is offering a doctoral programme in Eastern Christian Studies from autumn 2018. The programme comprises of 240 credits (four years) and can be studied full-time or part-time. Prior to the academic year, two new doctoral scholarships are announced.

Students pursuing their doctoral studies at Stockholm School of Theology will also be part of larger networks, both Nordic and International, including opportunities for shorter exchange periods.

Admission requirements include, among other things, a degree at advanced level (master's degree, or comparable), focusing on Eastern Christian Studies, as well as a well-developed project plan.

Deadline for application: Thursday, May 10th.
Admission takes place in June.
Access: Autumn 2018, or no later than January 1st, 2019.

In addition to PhD students with scholarship funding, Stockholm School of Theology can also admit competent applicants with excellent qualifications, who can adequately finance their doctoral studies, funded by employers or the similar.

Applications for doctoral studies and applications for doctoral student scholarships should be made on a special form, which is requested from the Academic Dean of Eastern Christian Studies, Anne-Christine Lindvall (), who may also provide more information.
