Serbien: Promotion of the “Serbian Manuscripts in Slovakia”

Under the patronage of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Slovakia Mr. Marko Madjaric, a promotion of the publication of the Serbian Manuscripts in Slovakia was held in the University Library of Slovakia in Bratislava on 9 November 2017. The present publication on the Serbian manuscripts in Slovakia is a result of the work of a scientific commission of the Library of the Serbian Patriarchate. All the known Serbian medieval manuscripts located in Slovakia are exposed and scientifically described in this book.
The promotion was opened and moderated by Mrs. Silvia Staselova, General Director of the University Library in Bratislava, who spoke about the significance of the publication and the established good cooperation between the University Library in Bratislava and the Library of the Serbian Patriarchate, expressing her hope that this cooperation would continue in future, as well.
The event was attended by Radoslav Ragac, PhD, General Director of the Section for cultural heritage at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovakia, who greeted the augustus audience on behalf of Minister of Culture of Slovakia, under whose auspices this solemn gathering was organized. The promotion was also attended by the Ambassador of Serbia to Slovakia Mr. Sani Dermaku.
