Der russische Patriarch Kirill hat am 19. September 2018 den Grundstein für die künftige Hauptkathedrale der russischen Streitkräfte gesegnet. Unweit von Moskau soll bis 2020, zum 75. Jahrestag des Endes des Zweiten Weltkriegs, auf dem Areal des Freizeitparks Patriot die Christ-Auferstehungs-Kathedrale errichtet werden.
